it was a little disappointing that carrie, our instructor, never made it to class. but hey-at least i got in eight hours of work study. and i didn't even lie about my hours. i actually sat in the learning center for eight hours. well, sans the numerous trips to the picnic tables outside and the one break for lunch. but other than that-it was all work.
i think it's time we get a new mouse for this here computer. this one keeps going all retarded. i just don't know what's wrong with it.
i met a nice guy today. well, i didn't actually "meet" him, he just talked to me for a while. he's a math nerd. my favourite kind.
you know, despite my eight hours of sitting at a table eager to assist students, not a single person came in for help. oh wait, d'jems stopped by. but he just wanted to know if i had an old algebra book he could buy off of me. i told him i might. i don't rightly remember.
he's a computer nerd. which is also alright by me.
i'm just glad angela was there today. she thought she had a class this morning, but it turns out it's on tuesdays, wednesdays, and thursdays. so she sat and tutored with me. we had a grand old time, giggling with each other across the room. i'm starting to rub off on her. she's gettin a little evil.
hehe-and i kept flirting with this kid levi. it was all innocent, though. he recently got married. he's just fun to talk to.
only part about today that sucked was the fact i didn't get to talk to nick. every time i stopped by the photo lab, he wasn't there. bastard.
oh man, and chris said hi to me. totally threw me off. i'm like, "oh...hey," and kept walking.
but i was able to convince angela to drive me home. it got rather hot today, and i didn't really feel up to walking. and she offered to pick me up tomorrow. what a gal.
