one thing i'm not liking about my dorm room is the bunk beds. it's not that big of a deal, but i've been extra clumsy lately and every time i go to lie down or get up i end up whacking my head on the metal edge of the top bunk. dang contraption. maybe i just need to start drinking less.

so it's mid-term week right now. and in korea, that actually means something. these kids have been studying for weeks. some of them practically live at the library. that's how i met another boy, actually. it was around 4:00 in the morning; he was leaving the library and i was coming back from another round of all-night drinking and my friends knew his friend, so we stopped and i introduced myself and we talked for quite a while. i remember him being cute, but i was quite drunk. the drunkest i've been yet in korea. i told him i had been drinking, and he was like, "you don't seem drunk at all!" then later i went inside and threw up.

but this week is pretty boring. there are no regular classes and everyone's busy either studying or taking tests. i've been reading. and sleeping. and drinking in the night-time. except tonight. i stayed in. i decided i've been spending too much on liquor and drinking cheap beer only makes me sick. so i took the night off.

my roommate told me i should get a perm. she also tells me i should get a boyfriend. she's funny.

i went out with eric some nights ago. just to dinner with him and his roommates and anesa. it was awkward. but we talked some. he wants me to be his private english tutor once a week. i said i would. the awkwardness eventually went away and it's cool now.

welp. i guess i'll go to bed then. i'll update again when things get exciting.
