my friend said the cutest thing to me today. we've been trying to get together for the past several weeks, but it's difficult because he lives in seoul and comes here only on mondays, tuesdays, and wednesdays. every time he's in town, i tend to be busy, and every time i'm in seoul, he has some other appointment. so today we were texting and he goes, "are we magnets?! you are south and i am north!"

it just made me smile.

we have our finals next week. and soon after that, all the american students will be leaving. i'm the only one staying all winter break, so that should be pretty fun. it's gonna be weird next semester with new people. i hope they're cool.

i'm sort of working on a speech right now. for tomorrow. it's the final for my history class. i don't actually care about it very much. i'm just so tired. there's stupid drama going on in a group of my american friends, and i spent a good part of tonight listening to some angry rants and it's so tiring. really, people get upset over the dumbest things sometimes. and it sucks that the last few weeks i'll spend with some of these people is most likely going to be very tense.
