i found out my semester grades today. straight flippin' A's. some of them were even A PLUSES. how does that happen? i really don't remember working that hard. i never even finished the last programming assignment. maybe they just like me? or maybe i am an amazing genius.

so, winter vacation still pretty much rules. even more now that i have money and can go out and do stuff. one of my friends in seoul came and visited last night. we went out drinking and then he walked me back to my dorm and we ended up making out. it was kind of weird but also awesome, cuz kissing is nice.

julia left her toothbrush here, on accident. she told me to just throw it out, but i haven't yet. it's still hanging from the cute little toothbrush holders i bought. i don't know if i'm being lazy or sentimental. or just plain creepy.

i had all these ambitions to study korean language (and possibly japanese) over the break, but so far all i've done is found my korean book and placed it in a noticeable spot. and i downloaded this program that helps you memorize japanese vocabulary, so that's pretty cool. if i were so inclined, i could even set it up to have korean vocabulary. i'm just no good at studying. i'm better at making plans to study.

i'm so itchy. korean winter is frickin' dry.
