i've been fighting for your honor

i think angie's mother wants to set me up with the brother (i don't remember his name). awkward!
someone was in my room while i was gone. i know because they moved my refrigerator. why would they do that? i can't figure it out. so i moved it back and put my scarves which i never wear back on top of it. i think they also fixed my door while they were here. it used to make this horrible grating sound when it closed, but now it doesn't. it takes about three swipes of my key card before it opens, but it is silent!
i wonder if they looked through my stuff while they were here. if it were me, i totally would have.
i taught at the kindergarten today. super fun. there's this one boy who actually knows a lot of english. he knows the answers to everything! before i even ask the questions, sometimes. he's pretty funny. he told me his name is neo. and today, the director told me to hug all the children before they left (weird!), and neo just walked right past me, so i went, "can't i have a hug?" and he was like, "nope!" i just laughed and went, "ok, dude." i feel kind of strange hugging the children. i don't really know them very well and most of them are pretty much afraid of me. i'm a strange-looking foreigner who talks really loudly in a language you don't understand. here, let me hug your young child!
as i was walking to the bus stop after class (everyone was too busy to give me a ride today), this car drove by, and one of my students stuck his whole head out the window and shouted, "sunsangnim! have a good day!" at least, that's what it sounded like he shouted. ("sunsangnim" = "teacher") it made me feel pretty good. that's why i like teaching. the attention!
