change of plans! instead of going to seoul, i'm staying in town and moving. i was told i could stay in this dorm until the 20th, but i got a call yesterday (the 13th) saying i had to be out by the 15th. i guess the dorm committee decided it would be unfair to let me stay longer than the korean kids. so i spent today (valentine's day!) packing and moving most of my crap over there. i did it today because jk (who has a car) was available to help and wouldn't be tomorrow. it's not really far to the other dorm, but they're kind of on the side of a mountain and walking up and down is pretty hard even without crates of things. so i moved my stuff. but i can't move myself yet. the rooms aren't ready for people, i guess? it looked ready to me. but i'm not the dorm committee. i guess i can move in on the 16th (schedules are never all that concrete in korea).

i was gonna go to seoul with my bus friend (byounggyu) today, but i couldn't because of the move. i hate having to cancel plans like that, but he was all, "that's ok. i can help you move. i'm strong!" and we decided to go to seoul on thursday. but i had to cancel again because everything's messed up and i have to be here on friday to officially check out of this dorm and check into the other one. i feel like a double-ass for canceling twice.

i have all kinds of i-can't-believe-it's-not-butter left and i have to either eat it in the next two days or throw it away. the only refrigerator i will have access to in the other dorm is the public one that smells like rotting ass. i can't stand to open it, let alone keep things inside of it. so i bought some bread today. i'll be feasting on toast tonight!
